Paint me in pixels so I can dance forever

This series exhibits the output of a computer program written to continually layer a dancer's form on screen. While any movement in an off-screen dance performance lasts only a moment, by rendering my own movement in pixels I am able to linger on screen indefinitely, creating a unique portrait that represents a performance from start to finish.

Shown at CADAF Miami for Art Basel and in Times Square and Lightbox in New York City.
